 Your
technology education teacher does a lot. He or she not
only sees that you learn important technology skills,
but that you learn them in a safe environment. Teaching
is a tough job, the pay isn’t the greatest and the
rewards are sometimes few and far between. Often times
the equipment isn’t the latest, and the materials
sometimes run short, but your technology education
teacher still helps you learn the important facets of
your chosen technology, and helps prepare you to be a
working adult.
You can make a difference for your technology education teacher. You can nominate your teacher for one of the 250 Technology Education Outstanding Teacher Awards presented by StudentAware (the publishers of Technology Education shop-safety posters and Take Safety To Work student booklets) and the US Air Force. If you think your technology education teacher is one of the best 250 technology education teachers in the country just complete the short entry form. If your teacher is selected as a recipient of the Technology Education Outstanding Teacher Award we’ll present him or her with a laser engraved maple plaque and engraved multi-tool, which he or she will be proud to display and use.
